Molly is a non traditional U-M student working with the University of Bayreuth, Bayreuth Germany, on a project coordinating an extensive effort to assist recent migrants to adapt and integrate into German culture and life. Through this internship, she hopes to gain a broad overview of how the German healthcare system functions and work with a wide range of patients from those with private insurance to refugees including an association of local doctors established to help support new migrants. Her project promises to make an immediate impact on the quality of life of recent migrants.
